My goal as a designer is to create inclusive and engaging products and the focus of my PhD is “Designing for Data Exploration” investigating how we can encourage average people to interact with data about the world around them via technology.
In my free time I make digital art and comics, salsa dance, and teach at an educational summer camp during my vacation days. I also was born in the US and grew up in Mexico, so I am bilingual.
